Research for Social Work Practice Honors

Basic research methods for the generalist social worker. This honors class focuses on the role of research in building knowledge, critical assessment of research reports, use of research techniques, and application of research findings to generalist social work practice.

Prerequisite(s):Admission to the Honors College and the Professional Program in Social Work or Admission to the Honors College and declaration of a Social Welfare Minor or Permission of the BSW Program Chair or the Assistant Dean for Educational Programs and Student Services in the School of Social Work. Completion of the statistics requirement with a "C-" or better:BER 345,CJ 381,PY 211,SOC 301, orST 260.
